The Word-B-Gone 2000 is an item invented and used by Petey in Dog Man, specifically Book Em', Dog Man! (Chapter Three)
It was created to destroy the purpose of books by removing all the words inside the books. It can be used for outside stuff as well, such as a stop sign. It had been used by its creator Petey to make the whole world dumb. However, Dog Man had taken ahold of it and reprogrammed it to bring words back from books, and he used it to return all the books in the world's purpose. He later arrested Petey.
