–Flat Petey to Dog Man in Dog Man: Unleashed

Flat Petey is the evil paper counterpart of Petey and appears as one of the two main antagonists of Dog Man: Unleashed, alongside Flippy.

Origin[]

He has only appeared in Dog Man: Unleashed.

After news of a mysterious stranger that resembles Petey causing trouble spreads throughout the city, including Cat Jail, Petey gets angry, because he thinks that someone is impostoring him. He escaped by drawing himself on a piece of paper, pretending to be crushed dead as a distraction to escape jail.

When the piece of paper was taken to the wrong doctor, Boog E. Feeva, the piece of paper was sprayed with Living Spray, creating Flat Petey. He began going on a crime spree with Dr. Feeva as his henchman and Living Sprayed Skelly to help him steal Petey's Treasure Tank 2000.

Meanwhile, Dog ManSarahZuzu, and Chief were trying to stop Petey from stealing money from other people in the city with the Treasure Tank 2000. Petey is chased back to Cat Jail, allowing Flat Petey to steal his Treasure Tank 2000. Skelly was then un-hypnotized by Dog Man and happily wanders away. It was then that the mysterious stranger appeared, using telekinetic mind powers to battle Flat Petey, only to be stopped by Zuzu. Zuzu and Chief took off the stranger's disguise, revealing him to be Flippy (the other main antagonist), an evil fish whom Dog Man bought for Chief's birthday.

While Flippy explained his powers and plans to Dog Man, Flat Petey and the hypnotized witch doctor used their chance to escape with the treasure tank up a snowy mountain, before Flippy, Dog Man and his friends caught up. After Flippy freezes to death and his soul vanishes, Flat Petey betrays Boog E. Feeva and uses the Treasure Tank 2000 to crush the police car (the only transport Dog Man and his friends used to get up the mountain) before he could be arrested. Now that the heroes couldn't escape before they all suffered the same fate as Flippy, Flat Petey claimed that he won, because due to being paper, he would not freeze from the cold. However, after asking if they had any last words, he is licked by Dog Man, becoming frozen. Dog Man, co. and hypnotized Dr. Boog E Feeva use Flat Petey's frozen body to sled down the mountain and back into the city. Flat Petey is then finally chased away by Dr. Feeva - who was freed from his hypnotism spray due to laughing while he snow-surfed with the others - with his living scissors. Flat Petey and Boog E. Feeva were last seen running out of the city into the sunset. Flat Petey's fate is later unknown.

Personality[]

Flat Petey acts just like Petey did at the time of this book, being evil, rude, clever, and selfish.

Trivia[]

  • Flat Petey is a reference to Flat Stanley, given his name and how Petey puts a bulletin board on him.
  • Flat Petey can turn his own face into a fan made of paper.
  • He was used as a snow board for the rest of the characters to slide down the icy mountain.
  • He was scraped due to the snow and pavement.
